Most important choice of my life

Tulsa welding school in Jacksonville Florida is the sole reason for my progression as a professional. Not only did it give me a very valuable trade, but also showed me what it takes to make it in the field with outstanding instructors. Although I did not take the school as serious as I should while I attended I was still able to turn my welding into a career for a life time. I am currently a Team lead at Great Dane trailers in statesboro making $20 an hours. This seemed unattainable before attending Tulsa. Now I look at it as only the beginning.

Awesome school, killer teachers, and great friends

Tulsa allowed me to work where I want, when I want. I’ve worked in ship yards for a while and now I’m a teamster in New York City, believe it or not I keep my welding machine in my tractor and I use it more than you’d expect. I’m saving up now for a monster welding truck so I can move to Colorado and fulfill my dream of living away from the city while also making a great living ! THANKS GUYS !!!

    Great experience

The school itself was welcoming and my overall experience at TWSTC was very knowledgeable and credible. I would definitely reference people to enroll and learn a trade to last them a lifetime. The faculty is there to make sure you arent struggling so you can be on your way in just 7 months.

Excellent school with even better instructors

I finished the program on schedule without any rephases. The instructors are top notch and are willing to teach if you are willing to learn. I landed a welding job a few days after I moved back home. Glad I went.

    Great School Bad Reputation

I am a TWS graduate and I loved the training despite how quickly each phase passed on. However I found that after graduating finding a job in this particular field was quite difficult. Due to many of the former students who were not actually graduate’s. Claiming to have been trained completely, going to interviews unable to pass weld tests. I don’t fault TWS for these former student’s. Instead I will say that TWS is a great school and I believe that anyone really wanting to obtain a great skill set TWS is definitely the best way to go. I’ve been welding now for five years and the money is awesome. So thank you TWS keep up with the great work.

    Awesome experience and great instructors

Had a great time at the school. The instructors are very knowledgeable and their willingness to help is among the best. I would recommend this school to anyone. All you need to bring is your wanting to learn the trade.

You get what you put into it.

You want to learn to weld? Take the time and make the effort. Stay late and be dedicated, the resources are there, met some cool instructors that helped me with anything I needed and gave me great advice for being prepared when the time would come for me to test for a job. I attended 2014-2015 within a week of graduating I landed an awesome job, it wasn’t easy staying late every day 10-15 hours straight when I was tired I really had to push myself to stay and practice even if I was doing good I wanted to be better. Let them party while you grind the difference will show in the end.

    Great teachers

School helped refine my welding skills and the teachers helped fix the bad areas. If you want to work in the field on a pipe line in phase 9 take the pipe class. If you like Tig take the high frequency tig class like I did. Now welding high end Aluminum boat parts for companies.

    Awesome Experience

I was able to complete the program in 9 months after re-phasing phases 2 & 4. I was in the afternoon shift so it was really neat to be able to learn from and have the perspective of two different instructors both in the lab and in the classroom. All seemed more than knowledgable in the welding process they were teaching at the time and I never had an instructor that wasn’t more than willing to teach one on one or work with me through break time. The career services department has also done a great job at always keeping me updated with the latest job opportunities, their awesome! I don’t give five stars for the same reason the instructors don’t give out perfect grades. There’s always room for improvement. That being said it was a much better experience than I anticipated and I still miss being there with all the staff and instructors and would highly and gladly recommend it to anyone looking at becoming a certified welder.

    Great experience

I finished the school back in 2005. Remain steadfast in your pursuit for experience in this field. Tulsa gave me the experience I needed to start my career. I’ve worked on trailers, iron buildings, parking garages, natural gas pipe, food grade plants and 180,000 gal pressure vessels. The opportunities just get better and bigger as you gain experience. The friendships you gain along the way make for the best network. Finishing Tulsa was the best decision I ever made.

    Life Changing

The instruction I received at Tulsa welding school have greatly changed my life and open doors to job opportunities that I never knew were possible. I now have the tools to give my family a better life then I had and I feel more comfortable with my position in life now than I ever have before. Because I know that I will always have a job because there will always be a need for welders not just in the US but all over the globe. So I can honestly say that I am proud to be a T WS graduate of 2016.

Tulsa welding school changed my life completely! I was able to land a job in less than two weeks of graduating! I now build tools for remotely operated submarines! If it wasn’t for this school I wouldn’t be anywhere close to where I am today!

    Mediocre to Master

If you want to succeed in welding this is the place to be. I’ve been through 3 years of welding school (excluding this school) and 1 year on the job. That doesn’t amount to much to some people but I’ve had my fair amount of welding instructors. The instructors at TWS Jacksonvile are the best of the best. You only get 7 months with them but they become your brothers and if you listen to them you cannot fail. Once I graduated I sat at home for 3 days and on the forth day I started a great welding job that I still have today. Just remember 2 things, practice makes perfect and hood time is good time.

    Changed My Life Forever

The skills I learned at Tulsa Welding School helped me raise my annual income from 20k a year to 60k-100k a year. It changed my life. Signing up for the school was easy, they walked me through it step by step and told me what I needed and what I needed to do. They also worked with me and my financial situation allowing me to make monthly payments for the program. Their staff was very professional and helpful every step of the way. Tulsa’s weekly class schedule of four days shop time and one day class room were just what I needed to become a safe and professional welder. And if I wanted more hands on practice, the instructors encouraged me to come in and practice on the weekends. The instructors were very knowledgable and always willing to help and take time to help me understand or get something right. Going to Tulsa Welding School was the best thing I have ever done for myself. Thank you Tulsa Welding School.

    Perfect start but not complete

It took the standard 7 months, I learned the basics to welding and welding processes however the classroom could have been a bit more comprehensive and most teachers could teach well but not all of them. It helped get me a job in the sense that it was a small step ahead of most due to the fact that I knew how to weld and know how to operate machinery. A shop is a very different thing from the lab environment and there are things that the lab could have done to better prepare me for it. I feel that due to my time in school I learned to be proficient and have the confidence I needed to gain employment in the welding field. Tulsa welding school will have my eternal thanks for pushing my life forward and showing me that, no matter the age, skill or confidence level that anyone can really do anything they want and with hard work and desire to learn anything truly is possible.
