Tulsa Welding School has joined with the mikeroweWORKS Foundation to give away scholarships at each campus. Winners will receive a scholarship that is good for a 100% tuition paid education at TWS.
The MRW Scholarship is only open to High School Seniors that will be graduating in the 2013-2014 academic year. Scholarships must be used within 1 year of award date. All applications are due by February 28, 2014. Video submissions are due by March 28, 2014. Public voting is open from March 29th to April 29th.

Public voting begins on March 29th and is open to April 29th.
Finalists from steps 1 & 2 are invited to submit a 2-3 minute video explaining why they deserve a mikeroweWORKS Foundation scholarship. The videos will be placed on Facebook.
The public will vote on their favorite video on Facebook.
The videos with the most votes will win a scholarship.
Invite your friends and family to vote! You can vote for more than one video, but you only get one vote per day.

Step 2: Submit Your Materials DEADLINE FEBRUARY 28th – CLOSED FOR ENTRIES
All entrants must submit the following:
a. A 500 word essay explaining why the applicant is interested in a career in the skilled trades.
b. A copy of the S.W.E.A.T. (Skill & Work Ethic Aren’t Taboo) Pledge signed by the applicant.
c. Proof of the applicant’s high school GPA.
d. Records reflecting the applicant’s exemplary high school attendance.
e. A minimum of 3 letters of recommendation (recommendations may come from teachers, coaches, counselors, community service organizations, or employers).
