Welding is a steady and secure profession. There is always a need for skilled welders in a number of industries, and Tulsa Welding School offers multiple welding training programs and welding technology courses to suit your educational goals and needs.
The Master Welder program prepares graduates for entry-level jobs in structural, pipe, thin alloy and/or pipeline welding. They learn welding techniques such as SMAW, MIG, TIG, high frequency TIG, and Fluxcore. Students can graduate from the program in seven months. By the time you graduate,with dedication and the right workplace attitude, we will assist you in finding a welding career.
The Associate of Occupational Studies in Welding Technology program is a fourteen-month course earning an Associate of Occupational Studies Degree. Students in this program complete the seven-month Master Welder course, then add an additional seven months of training in regards to Welding Quality Assurance/Quality Control in preparation for becoming a Welding Quality Assurance/Control Inspector. This program is available only at our Tulsa, Oklahoma campus.
Our Structural Welder program is a 3 ½ month program for those who want to specialize in structural welding. It is a subset of our Master Welder program, and the program is designed to prepare you for an entry-level jobs as a structural welder once you complete the program.
Tulsa Welding School has been educating welders for almost six decades, and we are the largest accredited welding school in the United States. Tulsa Welding School has two campuses, one in Tulsa, Oklahoma and one in Jacksonville, Florida. We are committed to the success of our students and we provide extensive support to help them succeed. We offer financial aid for those who qualify, assistance with housing support, temporary job assistance and assistance with job placement for graduates.
The Welding Training Programs are primarily hands-on, giving students real-world experience working with the tools and practicing the techniques they will need to use once they are out in the workforce. Graduates from our Master Welder program can be found in every state and in numerous countries around the world.
