About Tulsa Welding School (TWS)
Tulsa Welding School was founded in 1949 by two welders who recognized a strong demand for skilled tradesman in their industry. Over 60 years later, TWS has evolved into an educational institution that prepares students for various skilled trade careers with a multitude of specialties and applications. We train our graduates for the skills, knowledge, and the workplace attitudes that are essential when entering the professional world. Graduates who put forth the dedication, commitment to excel, and workplace experience in their welding, pipefitting, HVAC/R or electrical welding education, have the potential to obtain a lasting and rewarding welding career.

As reported on our 2012 Annual Accreditation Report, TWS assisted in placing an average of 76% of welding graduates with careers that had an average annual salary of $31,740– $39,046 (based on program completed)*.
Students are the heart of Tulsa Welding School.
We’re proud of the strong partnership between our staff and students. We know adjusting to a new environment can be difficult, so we build a bridge for our students by providing ongoing support and guidance. Our team provides a host of student services, including housing assistance, temporary job assistance, and when you graduate, we also provide graduate employment assistance.
Many of our Students:
- Want to train in less than a year and do not have four or more years for a traditional college education.
- Are not interested in spending a lot of time in a classroom.
- Are looking for a rewarding career they can be proud of.
- Love working with their hands and learn best by doing.
